Aquaken is produced at Masco Industries Limited’s facility in Nairobi, Kenya, using advanced injection moulding technology and in-house quality control.
Manufacturing in-house means every specification — material grade, wall thickness, finish, colour consistency — is set and verified by us, not outsourced. It’s also what lets us take on custom moulds, private label runs and branded production for partners across the region.

With over 30 years of experience across Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Leadership, Amit Gulati is a seasoned professional known for his impactful roles as CEO, COO, and Vice President across multiple industries. His career has spanned plastics, FMCG (Food & Beverages), consumer durables, and packaging — both flexible and rigid formats — giving him a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle from raw material to retail shelf.
Having spent more than 30 years in the plastic industry, Amit possesses deep domain expertise in: Plastic raw materials, Masterbatch technology, Mold and machinery applications, Global supply chain & trade collaboration.
He has successfully led cross-functional teams in India and across the African continent, building strong international partnerships with companies in Europe, Asia, and the USA. A graduate of the Senior Management Programme (CEO Track) from IIM Calcutta, Amit brings not just operational excellence but also visionary leadership to everything he undertakes.
Today, Amit is the driving force behind Aquaken, a brand by Masco Industries Limited, an East African brand focused on health, sustainability, and product integrity. With a sharp focus on BPA-free, recyclable virgin polypropylene products, food-grade color pigment solutions, Amit is on a mission to redefine quality in everyday consumer products — “Made for You,” and made for the future.
